September is upon us...

We did it! We survived the first few weeks of school and it is now September. As the school year gets into full swing, below are a few things we would like you to be aware of. We know that back to school is always a busy time, so we hope this newsletter will remind you of the important things going on in the PTO. We hope to see you at our first meeting or social to get you connected at CPJH.

PTO Meeting

We hope you can join us for our first PTO meeting of the 2025-26 school year. Principal Bailey will be present to give school updates. Meet the new PTO Board and Chairs for this year and hear about all of the amazing opportunities to get involved at CPJH this year.

Sonic Spirit Night

Remember that CPJH Sonic Spirit Night is always the second Thursday of the month. Stop by on 9/11 from 6-8pm and mention CPJH for 10% of the proceeds to benefit our school!

Cougar Campaign

Our annual Cougar Campaign fundraiser will officially kick off on 9/15. Don't miss your opportunity to donate to help our school and get some fun cougar pride gear in return. Any donation amount is appreciated!

Teacher & Staff Appreciation

Our Hospitality Team is already hard at work preparing for our first teacher and staff appreciation event. September is a Tailgate Themed Luncheon from Walk-On's!

August Teacher Breakfast

In August, our PTO welcomed our teachers back to campus with breakfast from Taco Cabana, HEB, & Karma Kolache. Thanks to your parent donations and community sponsorships, we are able to treat our teachers and staff each month. You can always donate on our site to contribute to these events directly by clicking the Donate button below.

Spirit Wear

SPIRIT WEAR HAS ARRIVED and will be delivered to your student this week during their lunch period on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday! If you ordered Spirit Wear, please let your child know to come see us.

If you ordered a Yard Sign before September 1st, be on the lookout for an email to pick up your yard sign at the front office.

Athletics/Clubs/Fine Arts Yard Signs are available in the PTO Store and can be ordered year-round.

Mr. Tom's Retirement

Mr. Tom has retired and he will be dearly missed! THANK YOU to StuCo and Everyone who made him feel special on his last day. We wish Mr. Tom all the best in his next chapter of life!

VOLUNTEER AT CPJH

Would you like to become more involved at CPJH? Fill out this Volunteer Interests Form to be notified when opportunities arise at the school, and then choose to volunteer when it fits for your schedule. Click here to fill out the volunteer assessment form.

Before volunteering on campus, parents must fill out the district volunteer application. The district requires an updated volunteer application every year. Make sure you have completed your application after 7/1/25 to be registered as a volunteer this year. Also, make sure you select PTO as an option on your application to volunteer with us!
